On this day	On arrival in Zanzibar you will be met by our island representative and transferred to your hotel. Those arriving early have the opportunity to explore and arrange some of the many optional activities available. You can spend the remainder of your evening watching the sunset from a charming rooftop restaurant of your choice, sipping fragrant coffee. You can spend hours just wandering the alleys and squares, sampling fares from pavement vendors, or buying local snacks, such as sesame bread, from various ambient cafes.

On this day	This morning you are met at your hotel by a local guide and taken on a classic half day Stone Town tour. Explore the labyrinth of passageways, colourful spice markets and haphazard roof tops of old Stone town. Marvel at the local architecture of St John’s Cathedral, the Old Fort, Forodhani Gardens and the rhythmic harbour dockside.

On this day	After breakfast we transfer to the North coast of Zanzibar. We stop along the way en-route to the beach for a forest Interior spice tour. A chance to observe how the different spices are locally grown produced in its tropical environment, Cloves, Vanilla, Ginger and Turmeric just to name a few favourites. It was the wonderful spice plantations that brought the beginnings of Zanzibar’s infamous slave trade dating back to the 1840s. We continue on to our accommodation, where after settling in, you have the remainder of the afternoon to explore your idyllic surroundings. The resort offers a variety of optional water activities including snorkeling, sailing and swimming or you may prefer to sun tan and relax on Zanzibar’s pristine beaches.

On this day	Today you can spend your time relaxing on the beautiful beach, soaking up the island spirit or explore the many captivating attractions of the area. There is a variety of optional activities to choose from in Zanzibar, such as Diving and/ or snorkelling with turtles at Mnemba Atoll, Visit Prison Island and see the turtles, Go to Jozani Forest nature reserve to see the red colobus monkeys and the mangrove forest. Visit Kendwa and Nungwe to experience village culture, the aquarium, visit a dhow building yard or just spend the day sunbathing on white sand.
